An energy-balanced unequal clustering approach for circular wireless sensor networks

The network lifetime of the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a critical factor for relevant applications due to limited energy supply. However, imbalanced consumption whole always leads “Hot Spot Problem” and decline inevitably. To this end, schemes energy-balanced unequal clustering energy-efficient cluster head rotation are considered in paper. be specific, we conduct detailed theoretical derivation mathematical calculation based on concept gradient obtain optimal number CHs, with aim balancing topology. In addition, fuzzy logic-based mechanism CHs also proposed balance distribution among different heads. Subsequently, novel Energy-Balanced Clustering Approach (EBCA) circular wireless sensor networks detailed. Finally, extensive simulations verify its performance. experimental results indicate that EBCA able heads gradient, reduce prolong effectively compared classic latest algorithms.
